Association for Academic Supervision is founded for the Charitable purpose to:

  • Create global partnerships and collaborations to enable transdisciplinary joint industry-academic supervision to bring disruptive industry 4.0 innovations to life.
  • Provide incubation to those innovative ideas under Guidance as a Service ltd (www.gaasnetwork.com) i.e a Virtual Incubator established to build transdisciplinary skill-based global partnership ventures among industry, academics, young students, and non-student members to create disruptive digital business ventures against shared equity.
  • Connect young members with supervisors from both academia and industry to help them self-learn emerging technologies.
  • Provide opportunities to underprivileged youth who are not enrolled in any institution but wish to learn employability skills by joining skill-based virtual partnerships of integrated disciplines, where each member may trade in his/her skills to learn new skills. This is all achieved through our www.skillpartnership.com portal, which provides a networking and project management platform to form skill-based partnerships where industry, academics, students, and non-student members may register to:
    • Seek a skill-based partnership in a Startup or Academic Project and in return willing to offer his/her complementary skills.
    • Seek complementary skills for their StartUP or Academic project and in return willing to offer their skills.
    • Seek complementary skills for their StartUP or Academic project and in return willing to offer a partnership.
  • Provide an exceptional learning environment to establish standards and policies and conduct workshops and training for transdisciplinary academia-industry joint-supervision.
  • Addresses challenges pertaining to United Nation’s sustainable development goals to transform our world.
  • GAAS provides an exceptional learning environment to establish standards and policies
  • GAAS conducts capacity building workshops and training and organises regular webinars and online learning forums through its regional Teams worldwide, which serve as hubs of GAAS capacity building activities for its members and academic supervision community at large.
  • GAAS organises annual Global Conference for Transdiciplinarly Academic Supervision to bring togather thinkers, luminaries and visionaries to share their experiences, policies, framework, ideas, recommendations and issues concerning transdisciplinary academic supervision.
  • GAAS publishes regular newsletters to keep its members updated with what’s going on in the transdciplnary supervision areas.
  • GAAS provides networking opportunities to create global partnerships and collaborations to facilitates testbeds and equipment sharing to support transdisciplinary academic projects
