Association for Academic Supervision is founded for the Charitable purpose to:
- Create global partnerships and collaborations to enable transdisciplinary joint industry-academic supervision to bring disruptive industry 4.0 innovations to life.
- Provide incubation to those innovative ideas under Guidance as a Service ltd (www.gaasnetwork.com) i.e a Virtual Incubator established to build transdisciplinary skill-based global partnership ventures among industry, academics, young students, and non-student members to create disruptive digital business ventures against shared equity.
- Connect young members with supervisors from both academia and industry to help them self-learn emerging technologies.
- Provide opportunities to underprivileged youth who are not enrolled in any institution but wish to learn employability skills by joining skill-based virtual partnerships of integrated disciplines, where each member may trade in his/her skills to learn new skills. This is all achieved through our www.skillpartnership.com portal, which provides a networking and project management platform to form skill-based partnerships where industry, academics, students, and non-student members may register to:
- Seek a skill-based partnership in a Startup or Academic Project and in return willing to offer his/her complementary skills.
- Seek complementary skills for their StartUP or Academic project and in return willing to offer their skills.
- Seek complementary skills for their StartUP or Academic project and in return willing to offer a partnership.
- Provide an exceptional learning environment to establish standards and policies and conduct workshops and training for transdisciplinary academia-industry joint-supervision.
